Yeovil District Hospital is holding a free one day event designed especially for those affected by a cancer diagnosis including patients, carers, family and friends.
It will be held on Friday 23 March at Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford between 10am and 4pm. A complimentary light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
The day will cover how to live beyond a cancer diagnosis and how to cope with the emotional effects of cancer. There will be diet and lifestyle advice to support a return to health and getting fit after a cancer diagnosis; information on how GPs can help and where to go for financial help. There will also be opportunities to meet cancer nurse specialists and other healthcare professionals
