A & E Assessment Unit
If your doctor has referred you to either the medical or surgical team for review, you will be admitted to the assessment unit behind the A and E Department. Here you will receive a full assessment coordinated between a member of nursing staff and a doctor.

Accident and Emergency

Anaesthetics
The Anaesthetic Department is located adjacent to main theatres and the Intensive Care Unit on level 5. The Department plays a key role in supporting many of the hospital activities.
Andrology
The Andrology Department at Yeovil District Hospital deals with all aspects of male fertility and, in conjunction with the Gynaecology Department, offers a simple assisted conception service. Services include fertility, retrograde ejaculation, post vastectomy testing and intra uterine examination.
Audiology
The Audiology Department assess hearing and fit hearing aids for patients with a hearing loss. It is based at Yeovil District Hospital with other clinics at Crewkerne, Wincanton and Sherborne community hospitals.
