Women's health

The Women's Hospital is an integral part of Yeovil District Hospital and adjoins the main building.

It benefits around 10,000 women of all ages from across South Somerset, parts of Dorset and Mendip, who use it each year.

On the ground floor a range of outpatient clinics are run for services including colposcopy, high risk maternity and infertility treatment - there is also an ultrasound scanning area.

The first floor of the Women's Hospital is home to Jasmine Ward which caters for obs and gynae patients.

Our maternity ward is called Freya and it is located on the second floor which also accommodates the Special Care Baby Unit.

The third floor area is dedicated to the care of women in labour and also
houses the maternity theatre for both elective and urgent caesarean
sections and gynaecology patients.

There is no public parking outside the Women's Hospital although there are drop-off facilities. Visitors can use the main hospital car park.
